Father’s day - the new nuclear
We can get a little caught up in the mundanity of family life, keeping the schedule on track. Sometimes, we need that prompt to enjoy a bit of time out.
I know my friends who are mums, encourage their kids to make Father’s day cards and cook their Dad’s favourite toast. That got me thinking about the same sex couples.
I wondered who makes the breakfast when you are both the father and the mother ?
i asked this question to my Lesbian friends who have two kids together, she said - Like all aspects of parenting, you each have to play to your strengths.

husband David was confident and instinctive in his care of them. We can admire his honesty. More
lately Harris posted an encouraging message on Instagram about fatherhood;

Parenting is complex and ever evolving. Let’s rewrite the stereotypical nuclear family and have more parental diversity.

Spend quality time together doing whatever you enjoy as a family; flip pancakes, braid hair, build that shelf or annihilate that computer zombie. Keep creating diversity and spreading love with fatherly fun.
